the big 3-0 birthday surprise.4.4.09

my big birthday celebration began with mom, dad and megs surprising me the morning of my birthday...bringing breakfast and everything! evidentally, i ruined the plans for having breakfast served in bed because my friend, Becca Martin, was visiting for the weekend. so, i was making her pancakes for breakfast. :)

in the picture below, we are all sitting around the breakfast table and i am talking to blair, emily and cameron--who had called to wish me a happy birthday.


we had revival services at church near the end of the week. my parents and sister feigned exhaustion to stay home to prepare for my surprise birthday party following the church service. the biggest tip-off i had was when our church parking lot emptied as all of the Young Married's Group rushed home before we got there. Mom brought this great crown...i think it was part of an old costume of Blair's or Chad's.
