thanksgiving.2008

we enjoyed six days out with frank's family in the phoenix, az area-flying out on thanksgiving day and then flying back on the wednesday after thanksgiving. time was fun and relaxing as we visited places like this beautiful resort in sedona.



the saturday after thanksgiving, we attended a huge family reunion for frank's mom's side of the family. here sit all of the in-laws for the family...so if there were this many of us, imagine how big the reunion was!



here is tori with dolly, one of frank's sweet aunts. with downes syndrome, she is quite the dancer! :)

one of the nights we were there, we took all of the kids (frank has three neices and one nephew) and hung out in the back of a friend's pick-up.

we all went to cabella's to see the stuffed animals with the kids. i loved this one of mia with the elephant looming behind her.

after cabella's we enjoyed delicious pizza (after what seemed like 3 hours of waiting for it) at Grimaldi's...famous for their amazing brick oven pizza. we were at an outside table where it got rather frigid after a while. here's alayna all bundled up!

the kids got some pizza dough to play with while we were waiting for the food. alec kept playing with his with "uncle ponchie" in the car ride home.

we had christmas later that night with frank's family. here's the best buy gift card we got for miguel that ended up having no money on it. sorry, miguel! we REALLY didn't do that on purpose! :)

alec really did appreciate his curious george book and stuffed animal...he's just looking a little sheepish.

all in all, it was a great trip. we enjoyed time seeing arizona some more and visiting with family and friends. when's the next trip?!
