christmas.2008

frank and I spent Christmas in New Jersey with my folks...for what will most likely be the last time in my childhood home since Mom and Dad are soon to move to Wyoming, DE. since this was a last trip home, frank and i took off some extra time from work and enjoyed almost two full weeks at home. it was a packed week with lots of shopping and filming around the house, sharing memories from our childhood experiences.

Christmas in NJ is always so special and really almost magical. we still follow some strict traditions that we've been doing all of our life. Christmas Eve homemade pizza, stockings early Christmas morning, dressing up a little for the big day and then opening gifts for the next ten hours. :)

blair & em couldn't make it with the boys for this Christmas, so here's Chad talking to them on the phone. we each took a turn chatting with them and wishing they could be with us on this special day.
yes, that IS a High School Musical Zack doll. meg is nuts!

speaking of nuts... :)

frank and i gave chad a Kung Fu Panda art book. here he is striking a character pose...was that the grasshopper move?

as a special birthday treat for megs, mom and dad treated us to dinner at one of our family's favorite restaurants...the Garlic Rose...and yes, we had A LOT of garlic. :)

posing in front of the pretty Christmas tree after dinner at the Rose...

as we always do around Christmas, we celebrated megs' 27th b-day while everyone was around in NJ.
