a hectic year...give or take a few months...

blogs are rather new to me, but that's no excuse for abandoning it for over a year...i guess things have been a little hectic lately...but when is life not hectic? :) as a quick update: last year, i helped my church, College Park Baptist Church in cary, nc, start a Christian school: Park Christian Academy. it was a year of wearing many hats as i taught kindergarten and first grade, had two students with autism, cleaned the school, and administered. the Lord taught me so very much and i learned that "trials work patience" and "to whom much has been given, much is required." after much prayer and thought, pastor and i decided to close the school until we can get a building large enough to grow (we are renting a facility for our young church right now). so, this year i am an assistant principal (director of education) at a small private school in cary. i'll be here for another year unless the Lord shows otherwise.

btw: since i am old fashioned with my photography techniques, i still don't have a digital camera, so any pictures posted here are passed on from my more technologically advanced friends and family. [thanks guys!] :)
